Meet our Leadership

Michael Hackley

Owner | President

In 1998, Michael Hackley started the $300 million company BBQ Guys, originally known as The Grill Store and More, and later Blaze Outdoor Products, a $115 million grill brand manufactured and designed by Richard and Mike. These companies were sold in 2020. As a result, our founders bring more than 32 years of experience in manufacturing, customer demand, and supply chain management. With ownership of over 100 patents, our founders have the capability to innovate and support any level of growth and partnership.

Richard Stewart

Owner | CEO

In 2014, Richard Stewart joined BBQGuys and Blaze, where his primary role was to streamline product design and oversee the e-commerce giant's supply chain and manufacturing operations. Over the years, Richard positioned himself at the forefront of manufacturing and earned consultancy contracts with several key standards organizations and OEM kitchen brands that influence product testing today, including ETL, CSA, and UL.

With expertise in global sourcing, supply chain management, and lean manufacturing practices, Richard played a crucial role in the design of many Blaze, Traeger, and other grill brands seen in the market today, with a strong emphasis on Design for Manufacturability (DFM). His contributions have greatly shaped the company’s ability to deliver high-quality, innovative products efficiently.
